# 1. Information and requirements
#
The Single Sign-On (SSO) Database stores data for user authentication, user
authorisation and user details and is used in SSO Server deployments.

You need a Java 1.6 Runtime Environment and an open TCP port (see 3.) to run SSO Database.

# 2. Installation
#

SSO Database comes with installation scripts that use default parameter values.
To install SSO Database, run
- bin/install.sh (Unix/Linux) OR
- bin/install.bat (Windows)


In case you wish to use different parameter values, you need to open the respective files as shown below.
  
*** Unix, Linux ***
File: bin/install.sh
Parameters with default values:

DB_DIR="./dbfiles"
DB_NAME="wisnetgrid"
DB_USER="wisnetgrid"
DB_PASS="wisnetgrid"


*** Windows ***
File: bin/install.bat
Parameters with default values:

DB_DIR=dbfiles
DB_NAME=wisnetgrid
DB_USER=wisnetgrid
DB_PASS=wisnetgrid

# 3. Operation
#

Once installed, you can run SSO Database.
To facilitate operation, SSO Database provides start/stop scripts that use default parameter values.
Run with
- bin/install.sh (Unix/Linux) OR
- bin/install.bat (Windows)

To use different parameter values, you need to open the respective files as shown below.
  
*** Unix, Linux ***
File: bin/start.sh
Parameters with default values:

DB_DIR="./dbfiles"
DB_NAME="wisnetgrid"
DB_HOST="localhost"
DB_PORT="3309"

Stop: bin/stop.sh


*** Windows ***
File: bin/start.bat
Parameters with default values:

set DB_DIR=dbfiles
set DB_NAME=wisnetgrid
set DB_PORT=3309
set DB_HOST=localhost

Stop: CTRL + C (installation as Windows service coming soon...)
