Project seminar 'Reconstruction as urban revision': Enrollment from 10/18/2021
Radebeul Villa Koebig section1900
Who and what does Dresden's reconstructed historic center and related projects in other cities represent? What visions of the urban are invoked by such 'reconstruction architectures'? Based on these guiding questions, participants in this project seminar will deal with the relationship between memory, heritage protection, nostalgia, tourism, history and urban space. Under the direction of Anke Schwarz, the course offers space for inquiry-based learning, i.e., guided experimentation with a research process, in the field of comparative urban studies.
Enrollment 10/18-29/2021 via SELMA. Seminar starts 05.11.2021. More information about the course on OPAL.
