The Lohrmann Observatory has a planetarium again!

After moving into our new offices in the Beyerbau in April 2025, the planetarium was completed in December and fine-tuned by ZEISS.

With the beginning of the new year 2026, we look forward to once again using the planetarium to convey important astronomical concepts to our students. In addition, as part of our public outreach efforts, we can now show the current night sky under our planetarium dome to larger groups of up to 22 people. Interested groups are welcome to contact us.
