• Smart and sustainable mobility
• Machine learning
• Travel behaviour

Fellowships

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF), European Commission (2028–2030). Project “Reliable High-emitting Vehicle Identification using Machine Learning (RHive-ML)”, hosted at the Technical University of Graz, Austria. The project focuses on identifying high-emitting vehicles using point sampling remote sensing emission measurements and machine learning approaches.

Research Projects

Current research projects

Identification of High-Emitting Vehicles Using Machine Learning (HEVI-ML), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) under the Walter Benjamin Programme (2026–2028). The project focuses on developing machine learning approaches for identifying high-emitting vehicles from remote sensing emission measurements.

Completed research projects

Handbook of Emission Factors for Road Transport (HBEFA 5.1) (2024-2025). The project involved analysing vehicle emission data and contributing to the development of emission factors and deterioration functions for passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles, based on real-world remote sensing emission measurements across Europe.
