Research Projects and Professional Internship (Required)
Fundamentals of Independent Scholarly Work (5 LP)
- Advanced Seminar
3 SWS seminar
Exam: Combined term paper (75 hours)
The advanced seminar should be taken in the student’s chosen field of study.
In some fields of study, information sessions are held as early as the end of the 7th semester; often, topics are also assigned toward the end of the 7th semester.
In the 9th semester, students must complete and defend their term paper (15 LP).
We recommend completing the term paper first and then doing the professional internship.
You may choose the topic of your term paper yourself:
- The chairs offer a variety of topics for the project. These are published online or are available upon request.
- In some cases, it is also possible to work on your own proposed topics (e.g., based on professional contacts). In this case, you must contact the Chairs to inquire whether they can supervise the topic in terms of content and capacity.
The guidelines for completing the term paper apply.
Here is additional information regarding the term paper.
