Fifth International NETWORK STUDIO
The physics of life and a shared interest in living matter brought together researchers from TU Dresden, the University of Warwick, and Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Dresden on September 24 and 25. The fifth international NETWORK STUDIO, held within the framework of the European University Alliance EUTOPIA, was dedicated to “Physics of Life” and thus also to TU Dresden’s Cluster of Excellence of the same name, with strong participation from researchers affiliated with the cluster.
In a series of short impulse sessions, participants presented their research and collaboration interests. Generous breaks provided ample time for in-depth discussions and the development of ideas for joint projects.
In the evening, the program continued at TU Dresden’s Botanical Garden, where a guided tour was followed by a joint dinner. Special thanks go to the ZEISS Innovation Hub and Lipotype GmbH, who participated in the event and supported the dinner.
On the second day, participants learned about bilateral and international funding opportunities and visited the life sciences campus in Dresden-Johannstadt (CMCB & MPI-CBG). Once again, the NETWORK STUDIO provided space for new connections, joint ideas, and future international collaborations.
