#43 Interviews // Village fair 2.0
Our idea today can be implemented as part of the preparations for a village festival. These are interviews that could be conducted with various people in the run-up to a festival. A small group prepares small interviews with which they then go around the village and approach people at random or invite people they want to interview in a targeted manner.
These interviews (which often end in a personal conversation) can be used to ask about perceptions, opinions, interests and wishes in an appreciative manner or to discuss collective biographical events (e.g. floods or the reunification period).
If consent is obtained, audio recordings are useful and can be "evaluated" afterwards or used as an audio collage during the village festival. Depending on the topic, these visualizations can function as "exhibition/information boards", as a basis for further work in short "workshops" or to stimulate further exchange, e.g. via sticky notes as comment options.
What else is conceivable? "Short interviews" can also be conducted during a party to create opportunities for discussion. Two or three statements or questions on which people comment are sufficient here - after all, people are there to celebrate.
A little tip: The interviews and interviewers should be announced well in advance and it should be made clear what the statements will be used for later.
