#44 Beer table hosts // Village fair 2.0
The beer table set is not only a classic at village festivals, and you can use it to create an exchange on social, political or personal topics at a festival or other event with little preparation. For example, by placing people there who are able to speak on certain topics. These could be local councillors, administrative staff, club chairpersons or simply people who are interested in talking to other people (about certain topics). These "beer table hosts" could then answer questions from festival participants or ask them themselves.
You could also send the beer table hosts into a small competition:
For example, the task could be to recruit people for a project, team or activity during the party. Writable tablecloths or other note-taking options are useful for visualizing and documenting thoughts and ideas that are spun around the table and can also motivate children to join in. After the party, you as the organizer can invite all beer table hosts to a joint reflection round to evaluate their conversations, record perceptions and filter out relevant topics for further project work.
