Information About the Chair
Organizational Chart & The MST Team
The Chair of Measurement and Sensor System Technique (MST) conducts teaching and research in the field of systems engineering. It pursues holistic, systemic approaches to the design of sensors and measurement technologies. The targeted application areas include biomedicine (health), process and production engineering (energy and environment), aerospace (mobility), automation and control engineering (safety), and Information Systems Engineering (communication). Fundamentally, systems are the totality of elements that are interrelated and organized externally as a distinct structure. At MST, novel systems are developed using ultrasonic and laser light waves and applied in collaboration with a network of partners. Outstanding research achievements have been made in the fields of adaptive optics and wavefront control.
