Our Diploma degree study programmes - Bachelor's/ Master's level, English taught courses
We offer 5 Diploma degree study programmes:
Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Systems Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems.
These programmes are integrated five-year (single-tier) programmes leading to a Diploma degree. Thus they include Bachelor's level courses as well as Master‘s level courses.
Here you can find an overview of the Bachelor's level courses. The language of instruction of the Bachelor's level courses is mainly German.
Here you can find an overview of the Master's level courses. The language of instruction of the Master's level courses can be German or English. Please search on that website for "English" to find the English or German/English taught courses.
Regardless of study level, exchange students can choose both Bachelor's and Master's level courses, provided that the prerequisites are met.
Please be aware that there might always be timetable conflicts due to different specializations, key areas, profiles etc.!
Some courses are divided into several parts. You must visit all parts of one course, except for courses that last 2 semesters or that contain German and English taught parts (if you do not have any knowledge of German, you may only attend the English language part).
Also, you have to choose minimum 70% of the modules offered by the Faculty of
Electrical and Computer Engineering!
Please make sure that the module you have chosen is offered in the semester you want to stay at the TU Dresden (winter semester, summer semester).

Language Courses
The language courses are offered by TUDIAS:

A course with 4 hours per week (mostly the beginners courses) gives 5 ECTS; a course with 2 hours per week (mostly the advanced courses) gives 3 ECTS.
You can choose freely from the offer of TUDIAS. The courses do not have module numbers.
(For your information: The German Language and Culture module is especially for the NES students.)
