Welcome Event/First-Semester Orientation (ESE) for the Winter Semester 2026/27
Dear first-semester students!
The Faculty of Psychology extends a warm welcome to you and would like to support you as you begin your studies.
For all new psychology students, we are offering a First-Semester Orientation Week (ESE) during the week before classes officially begin—that is, from October 5 to 9, 2026.
During this week, you’ll learn everything you need to know to get started with your studies and meet important contacts.
Staff from the Faculty of Psychology, along with the Faculty Student Council (FSR—the student organization), have put together a varied program for you during First-Semester Orientation Week to help you get to know your degree program, the university, and the city of Dresden.
We wish you a great start to the semester!
