Basic nursing courses
To make exchange opportunities more personalized and practice-oriented for TUD students and staff who currently have caregiving responsibilities, basic caregiving courses are offered in addition to the lectures.
Course content:
- How to Provide Successful Home Care: An Overview of Key Topics and Practical Knowledge
- Where do I start? Guidance, organization, and management for your daily life
- What benefits is the person in need of care entitled to? An overview and facts about applications and benefits under long-term care insurance
- How can I manage this? Coping with and easing the burden of daily care through helpful strategies
- Who can help me? Ways to get in touch
Target Audience and Objectives:
TUD students and employees currently responsible for providing care; family members and volunteers can learn skills for providing care independently in care courses and training programs. The content of the care courses is determined by the long-term care insurance funds. Maximum number of participants: 12 people
