Guide to Creating the Digital Learning Agreement
The International Office provides a guide to help you create the digital Learning Agreement in Mobility Online.
Additional guides for organizing and preparing for your semester abroad are available on the Mobility Online portal:
- Part 1: Application
- Part 2: Accepting an Exchange Spot
- Part 3: Learning Agreement
- Part 4: Changes to the Learning Agreement
Notes on Table B
- Table B1 shows which ZIS modules—or, in structural terms—the coursework completed abroad should be credited toward.
- There is no automatic recognition at ZIS. The actual credit transfer process takes place only after your return and upon submission of all required documents as specified in the study regulations. Table B is therefore non-binding but must be completed for Erasmus funding. Please make sure that the “Automatic recognition” box is not checked. You can use the following wording:“I waive my right to advance recognition. However, I will still have the right to recognition after my mobility period in accordance with the internal regulations of TU Dresden.”
- You have the following options:
Credit transfer to an existing module -> equivalent module according to the currently valid module handbook with corresponding ECTS
Structural credit transfer -> please enter the note “structural credit transfer”; the ECTS credits correspond to those of the partner university - Further information on credit transfer.
Changes Before the Stay
- A change to a Learning Agreement prior to the study abroad period is only possible if the agreement is rejected by either your home university or the partner university.
Rejection of the Learning Agreement by the partner university
- You will be notified of this via email; the reason is listed in the top box of the Learning Agreement. Once the issue has been resolved, resubmit the Learning Agreement for signatures.
The partner university uses OLA
- No problem. You can create the digital Learning Agreement via Mobility Online. Thanks to a shared platform, the partner university can still view and sign your LA. To be on the safe side, please inform the partner university of this.
During your stay
Guidelines for Changes to the Digital Learning Agreement
Changes made after the start of the semester must be documented in a “Learning Agreement Changes” document
during the mobility period and must be approved by all three parties with their signatures.
